We love our Achieva employees! This week's company event was hugely successful. Not only did we learn about upcoming projects, but we also participated in team-building tasks to aid the community. Over 3,500 pounds of cereal went towards the #CerealforSummer campaign. The event was educational for employees as it provided ways to fight food insecurity in our local communities and how credit union advocacy affects the future. 1 in 4 children face going hungry over the summer break when they don't have access to their free meal programs from school. During Achieva's annual company training, our teammates learned about the impact of food insecurity and how the #CerealforSummer program aims to solve it. As a way to symbolize knocking down hunger, employees constructed a giant domino line using over 1000 cereal boxes. There's still time to make a difference! Stop by any Achieva Credit Union branch to donate cereal, granola bars, or oatmeal. All donations collected will go to Feeding Tampa Bay and local food banks surrounding our branches.
